All matters discussed with the counsellor remain private and confidential. The exception is if you disclose wanting to injure someone or that someone wants to injure you and your life is in danger.
Additionally, you can request information be shared with other parties. This is done via written consent to release information.
A Mental Health Treatment Plan is a tool used to discover what services are required and to access these services for the client. This enables the client (in the case of Counselling) to have 6-10 session per calendar year at no cost to the client, the costs being covered by Medicare.
MC Counselling can utilise the content of the Mental Health Treatment plan to assist in creating a treatment plan for you, however we are unable to offer you discounted pricing with the medicare rebate. The good news is there are no waiting periods and treatment support can be accessed immediately
